Carols@QMC

Friday 13 November

The holiday season kicks off early at QMC with festive songs, community spirit and a touch of Christmas magic.

Bring your blankets, chairs and picnic essentials and join us for our annual Carols@QMC celebration. Spend a relaxed summer evening picnicking on the QMC front lawn before heading into the College Hall for Christmas carols and festive singing.

The Tui Singers (Years 1-3) and Cherubim Choir (Years 4-6) will help lead this much-loved community celebration, and our School Chaplain will unite us in a Christmas blessing.

Festive costumes will add plenty of Christmas magic to the evening. Year 2 and 3 students should come dressed as white angels, while students in Years 4-6 should wear their school uniform with a festive Christmas headband or hair accessory. Year 1 students will receive separate costume information from their class teachers.

The QMC Parents' Association will be serving a barbecue, and our student ambassadors will be handing out Christmas treats.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the season. To help everyone plan their evening, please see the indicative run sheet below.

Important Information

Our senior students will be sitting external examinations during the day. To ensure they have the quiet environment they need, please do not set up picnics on the front lawn before 4.30pm. Families arriving earlier are welcome to gather at the Kōwhai Playground in the Junior School until the lawn opens.
