Education outside the classroom (EOTC)

EOTC provides each student with the opportunity to explore new interests, and discover new ways of learning and working together.

In years 1 to 6 learning experiences outside of the classroom lay the foundations for collaboration and teamwork, while also building independence and confidence within each student.

Girls participate in a range of activities outside the classroom including trips to Te Papa, Zealandia, City Gallery and the National Library to nurture inquisitive learning.

Camps and activities

Year 1–6 students participate in a range of activities outside the classroom every year. Students in Year 4 and 5 go on a school camp and spend two nights away, while Year 6 students participate in a four-day camp at an outdoor education centre each year.
