Queen Margaret College is an IB World School authorised to teach the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and the International Baccalaureate Diploma or NCEA.
The PYP emphasises the total growth of the child by developing the students’ academic, social and emotional wellbeing, focusing on international-mindedness and strong personal values.
The MYP delivers a framework of academic challenges which encourage students to embrace and understand the connections between traditional subjects and the real world, and become critical and reflective thinkers.
In Year 11, students sit NCEA Level 1 which is the foundation course for the dual qualification pathway. We offers our senior students a dual qualification pathway of either the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBD) or NCEA.
