Scholarships

Diversity and access to opportunity is important in an increasingly connected world. Each year we offer a limited number of scholarships to promising young women in year 7, year 9 and years 11 through to 13. Scholarships are available to new and existing students, rewarding consistent achievement, services to the community and participation in extracurricular activities.

How to apply

Please review the terms and conditions before completing your application.

Years 7 to 9

When applications open please complete the online form. You should receive an automated thank you message for your application. Please contact the enrolments director if this does not happen.

Successful Year 7 and 9 applicants will be invited to sit a scholarship exam. Unsuccessful candidates will be notified by email.

The exam is made up of three components; English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. Candidates cannot really study for the exam. The exams are based on the students’ year level standard.

Candidates do not need to wear their school uniform.

All applicants must attend the exam on the same day. If you are not available, your application will not proceed.

Following the exam, shortlisted applicants are invited to an interview with the Principal.

Years 11 to 13

Applicants should submit a written application which includes a Curriculum Vitae; recent school reports; your NZQA record of learning and a cover letter from a parent or guardian. Include any service initiatives that you are involved in and tell us how a scholarship will make a difference to you and your family.

Send your application via post, email or deliver it to our reception. Mark the application for the attention of the Enrolments Director.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview with the Principal. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by email. There is no exam for the Senior scholarship.
