We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dynamic leader to join us in achieving our vision together.

As Deputy Principal, you will:

  • Play a pivotal role and be responsible for delivering our vision and implementing our strategic intentions around Wellbeing
  • Provide significant input into strategic planning, organisational culture, training and development of teaching staff, team management and succession planning through leading a team of teachers and specialists and implementing special projects
  • Ensure that our students and parents have a consistently effective and positive experience
  • Collaborate across Queen Margaret College to ensure that teachers work together to influence student outcomes.

Excellence in Operations is one of the five key strategic pathways which enables us to achieve our vision as a leading school. As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we are seeking a Deputy Principal to lead us into our next phase of our Strategic Plan.

As Deputy Principal, you will be responsible for,

  • Management of school events and teacher support, including Education Outside The Classroom, and Health & Safety
  • Strategic leadership in development of people and culture
  • Demonstrated ability/willingness in mentoring, coaching and developing appropriate professional learning opportunities for our people
  • Being an effective and contributing member of a cohesive and effective team
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build rapport and interact effectively at all levels of the school.
