This statement stressed the individual. We still emphasise the individual today.

We also extend girls through leadership opportunities, programmes and teamwork. Courses and camps as well as House, sports and cultural activities provide leadership opportunities and encourage the girls to work together while motivated classes enable groups to operate responsibly.
