Patrons' Programme

Patron n. (fem patroness) a person who gives financial etc. support to a person, cause, etc.

An initiative in 2007 was the introduction of the Patrons of Queen Margaret College Foundation.

Patron status is accredited to donors who make donations at various levels:

Value of Donation Patron Status
$250,000 upwards Heritage
$100,000 - $249,999 Gold
$50,000 - $99,999 Silver
$10,000, $49,999 Bronze


All Patrons receive an historic plaster rose retrieved from the original building during the restoration of the Old Hall.


All Patrons are entitled to a name plaque of their choosing on one of the stair risers in the Old Hall or Tower Block.


All Patrons, if they choose, will have their name recorded in Foundation and School publications and on the Donors' Board in the Atrium.

In addition Heritage Patrons may be offered Naming Rights if and when these are available. Gold and Silver Patrons will have their names associated with an artwork commissioned for the purpose.
