The Queen Margaret College Parents' Association is a voluntary committee that plays an active part in the College community. We aim to promote social activity, fellowship among parents, guardians and pupils and to support the College financially to provide the pupils with the best possible learning environment - both in and outside the classroom. The QMCPA seeks alignment of our (fundraising) goals with the school's overall development and strategic plan as laid down by the School Board. The Association's activities include film evenings, dances, participation in joint initiatives with Scots College - for example the "Share" cookbook - and other fund raising initiatives such as the Entertainment Books. In recent years a significant Parents' Association contribution resulted in the delivery of the fabulously successful "Neptune" climbing frame for the Junior school.

All parents (or guardians) of current students are automatically members of the Association and are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting each year and to join the committee. If you would like to join, or simply add your name to the list of people who are happy to be "shoulder-tapped" for help on an ad hoc basis, please contact our secretary Ron Coenders at ronc@abs.co.nz
