Queen Margaret College offers a wide range of choral and instrumental opportunities for students. In addition to the many school groups, private lessons in a range of instruments are also available as well as voice lessons.

The Princess Singers

The Princess Singers Choir was formed in 2000 and is an un-auditioned choir for Preps to Year 3. The choir sings at various school events, including Grandparents’ Day and Junior Prizegiving. The emphasis is on encouraging enjoyment of singing and providing performance opportunities.

Cherubim

The Cherubim Choir is an un-auditioned choir for Years 4-6, and sings at various school events throughout the year, including parents days and Services.

Concert Bands

The Junior Band consists of a number of Year 6 girls who are learning wind instruments from scratch! This is an exciting opportunity to try an instrument and learn some ensemble skills at the same time. For more experienced girls there is an Intermediate Band called the Banditas.

Junior School Production

On alternate years the Junior School produces a musical or drama production which is performed for families and friends.
