Bequests
To make a bequest or legacy in your will is a valuable and enduring way of assisting the School. It will be your personal investment to benefit girls and women of the future.

If you would like to make a bequest, download the Bequest Form which includes a sample codicil for inclusion in your will. Complete the codicil and instruct your solicitor to make the necessary amendments to your will.

Tax deductibility
The Queen Margaret College Foundation Trust 2005 is a registered charity under the Charities Act 2005. All donations will be receipted and are eligible for tax credits of either 1/3 of the amount of the donation or 1/3 of a donor's income, whichever is the lesser, in accordance with current legislation.

Payroll Giving
From 7 January 2010 employers are able to offer payroll giving schemes which means you may donate to the Queen Margaret College Foundation Trust straight from your pay and receive an immediate tax credit. This reduces your PAYE payable so you don't need to wait until the end of the year to claim your tax credit.

If your employer offers a payroll giving scheme and you would like to donate to the Queen Margaret College Foundation Trust, download and complete the QMC Foundation Trust Payroll Giving Form (Form attached), and give it to your employer.

Patrons' Programme
A Patrons' Programme is in place for donations in excess of $10,000.
