Queen Margaret College is the largest independent girls' school in Wellington but we are still a small school. Through our small size we are able to provide greater support and more opportunities to individual students. This includes a number of international language, culture and leadership trips abroad.

Rima Shenoy, Head Prefect 2012

The 2012 Head Prefect started Queen Margaret College in Preps, throughout her schooling she has had the opportunity to participate in a number of activities. This included attending the Melbourne Young Leaders’ Winter School and in January 2012 Rima attended the Alliance of Independent Girls Schools Conference for school leaders in Australia. During one of her school holidays she taught English and French and worked on building/renovating facilities and then attended the Australian United Nations National Youth Conference in Melbourne. Rima also became the New Zealand winner of The New Zealand Race Unity Speech Competition.
