Graffiti Gallery

The Tower was a signed record of generations of girls who attended Queen Margaret College. Many of them stealthily left their moniker there although it was forbidden territory. Before the Tower was restored, photographs were taken of the graffiti that adorned the walls, floor, stairs and balustrades. Visit our Gallery and click on the photograhs to enlarge them.

The graffiti photographs are unframed 300mm x 456mm prints mounted on hanging blocks.

Plaster Roses

In 2005, the school undertook a substantial restoration of the historic Tower Block and Old Hall. Some of original plaster roses that decorated the cornices were able to be retrieved and were offered to the Queen Margaret College Foundation for fundraising purposes.

The roses come in four designs and are presented in black velvet jewellery boxes with the QMC ribbon on the lid. The school crest is printed on the inside lid and there is a certificate of authentication booklet which gives a brief history of the rose's provenance. It also includes several photographs of various aspects of the Old Hall and is signed by Gina Jones, the architect in charge of the restoration.

Price: $1,000.

We do hope that you enjoy your purchases and thank you for supporting us.
