From Law to Engineering, senior students heard about a variety of different professions at the Meet the Professionals Evening.
Queen Margaret College held the Meet the Professionals Evening in June for parents and students to learn more about different future pathways.
Engineers, doctors, police officers and lawyers were just a few of the working professionals who came and talked about their chosen career.
The Science and Engineering sessions were popular this year reflecting the growing number of females entering these industries.
NCEA and IB Diploma Information sessions were also held for students and parents wanting to know more about the dual qualification pathway offered at Queen Margaret College.
Future Pathways and Careers Coordinator Carole Anderson says it is important that students are not limited by their own expectations of what is available.
“The more informed they are, the better the choices they will make for themselves in the future,” she says.
