Hockey

Hockey is played at various venues around Wellington each Saturday morning during Terms 2 & 3. 

• Years 1 and 2 play in the 4 aside competition on a Saturday at the Wellington Indoor Sports Centre and practise during the QMC lunchtime.
• Years 3 and 4 play in the 5 aside competition at either the Indian Sports Centre in Newtown or the Newlands Tennis Club and practise during the QMC lunchtime.
• Years 5 and 6 play in the 6 aside competition at the Wellington College turf and practise once weekly 4pm - 5pm at Shed 1 Queens Wharf.
• Year 6 - 8 students can play either in the 8 aside or 11 aside competitions at various turfs in the Wellington and Hutt region and practise once weekly 4pm - 5pm at Shed 1 Queens Wharf.

Shuttles are provided from QMC to practices and it is parent responsibility to provide a safe method of transport home from practice.
