Donations

Donations can be made to suit the needs of the individual donor and there are a range of options available:

• one-off donations or pledges
• regular donations as part of an Annual Giving programme
• bequests
• endowments

The Foundation has several different Funds to which donors may choose to donate.

To make a donation, download the QMC Foundation Action Form and return it to us with your donation. We would be honoured to receive your gift.

To make a bequest, download the Bequest Form.

Tax deductibility

The Queen Margaret College Foundation Trust 2005 is a registered charity under the Charities Act 2005. All donations will be receipted and are eligible for tax credits of either 1/3 of the amount of the donation or 1/3 of a donor's income, whichever is the lesser, in accordance with current legislation.

Donor Recognition

All donors gifting in excess of $1,000 will receive an historic plaster rose retrieved from the original building during the restoration of the College's Old Hall. Also, their name, if they choose, will be recorded in Foundation and School publications and on the Donors' Board in the Atrium.

Additionally, a Patrons' Programme has been established for donations in excess of $10,000.

All donations will be treated in strict confidence.
