The current Development Director is Karen Radford. She is an Old Girl of the school and a former member of the QMC Board of Governors. Her career has included roles as Policy Analyst for The NZ Treasury, the OECD in Paris and CEO of a chain of retail and appliance stores in the lower North Island. She has served on several private sector and not for profit Boards. She is currently on the Board of the NZ Retailers Association. Karen has two children. Her daughter is also a QMC Old Girl.

I came back to my 'Alma Mater' when an Old Girl asked me to consider a role on the Board. I have stayed because I believe in Queen Margaret College education. My role is to ensure that the wider QMC community (past and present parents, pupils, teachers and friends) are able to participate and contribute to the school's vision through philanthropic giving.
