Cross Country
Cross-Country – Year 7 & 8
Year 7 & 8 have the opportunity to join a running group that runs from QMC during lunchtime in term 2. The top 7 runners from each year group are selected on ability and go on to represent QMC at the Western Zone cross-country event held at Karori Park. The top 10 place getters per grade advance to Inter-zones and depending on results can then attend Regional and eventually National events.
Cross Country – Year 9 & 10
Events are run throughout terms 2 & 3 and cover a variety of disciplines and distances. Trainings take place before school. This sport is open to all those who wish to participate.
